The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) provides a streamlined entry process for travelers from certain countries. ETIAS is a requirement for visa-exempt third-country nationals who wish to visit the Schengen Area. The list of eligible countries can frequently change, so it is important to stay updated. As of now, the following countries are eligible to apply for ETIAS:
Asia and the Middle East: Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, and the United Arab Emirates.
Africa: Mauritius and Seychelles.
Europe: Albania, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
North America and the Caribbean Islands: Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Mexico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States of America.
South and Central America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
Oceania: Australia, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, New Zealand, Palau, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Tuvalu.
