Job Description: Dishwasher
Position Overview:
The Dishwasher role encompasses two shifts, morning and evening. Reporting to the Sous Chef/Executive Chef, this position is pivotal in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen area, ensuring smooth operations during and at the end of each shift.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and stock dishes and pots in a prompt manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the dishwasher.
- Regularly change and restock soap supplies as required.
- Record all changes of cleaning solution buckets.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the mop area through regular mopping and upkeep.
- Handle all kitchen garbage removal as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of the loading dock area.
- Assist Deli Prep Cook and Breakfast Cook when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must possess strong task management skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable communicating with team members throughout the shift.
- Demonstrates respect for colleagues and understands the importance of earning respect.
- Rejects the notion of "minimum wage minimum work" and exhibits a strong work ethic.
- Shows interest in furthering knowledge about high-quality restaurant food and service.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage: $17, supplemented with bonuses.
- Staff accommodation available for employees over 18 years old at $4.41 per day.
- Bonus: Upon completion of contract, receive $1 bonus for every hour worked, along with reimbursement of rent.
- Referral Bonus: Earn $500 for each completed contract referred by you.
