Job Purpose:
The Logistics Coordinator will oversee the efficient management of commercial relationships and compliance risks, ensuring adherence to local and international laws, standard operating procedures, service quality, and cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate international freight movements and manage shipping documentation for export cargoes.
2. Assist in customs clearance procedures for import shipments.
3. Maintain shipping records in accordance with procedures.
4. Ensure efficient and cost-effective shipment of orders in line with contractual terms.
5. Determine transportation requirements for products, including packaging and labeling, to meet contractual and regulatory standards.
6. Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Handle purchase requisitions for freight-related invoices.
8. Collaborate with various departments to address questions and concerns.
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience or familiarity with logistics operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
Candidate Qualifications:
- EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Hungary.
- Strong command of English for working in an international setting.
- Ability to work on-site Monday to Friday, necessitating relocation to Hungary. Physical presence is essential for the role.
