Program Overview
We are currently hiring experienced livestock workers to join farms across Germany. This opportunity offers legal, full-time employment, a stable income, and valuable international experience in one of Europe’s most advanced agricultural industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Feed, clean, and care for livestock (cattle, pigs, poultry, etc.)
- Monitor animal health and report any signs of illness or irregularity
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in barns, stalls, and equipment
- Operate basic farm machinery, if qualified
- Assist in general farm operations and follow guidance from supervisors
Visa Details
- Visa Type: German Work Visa
- Processing Time: Approx. 3.5 months from the date of visa application submission
Working Hours
- Standard Hours: 40 hours per week
- Overtime: Occasionally required and paid as per German labor laws
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Life Science, Animal Husbandry, or Veterinary Science
- University must be listed as H+ on the Anabin Portal
Experience
- Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience with farm animals
Language Skills
- Minimum B1 level of English
- Verified through an interview conducted by EU Helpers
Age Requirement
- Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age
Driving License
- Not mandatory, but preferred
Financial Readiness
- Must be able to fund travel, visa, and initial settlement expenses
Work Ethic
- Applicants must demonstrate reliability, motivation, and physical fitness suitable for farm work
