More than half of Schengen visa applications submitted by Bangladeshi nationals to Italy were rejected, with a rejection rate of 59.04%. Out of 13,705 applications filed by Bangladeshis, only 5,599 (40.85%) were approved, while 8,092 (59.04%) were denied, making Bangladeshis the most rejected nationality for Italian visas.

Despite these high rejection rates, Italy remains the most popular destination for Bangladeshi nationals seeking Schengen visas, accounting for 34.5% of all applications submitted. Sweden ranks as the second most sought-after country, receiving 11,416 applications, or 28.7% of the total requests made by Bangladeshis.
