France has emerged as a top destination for qualified workers seeking high-paying jobs, outpacing other major Western . Data reveals that 36 per cent of foreign job seekers are drawn to lucrative offers in France, surpassing the Netherlands (35 per cent), the United States (30 per cent), Germany (28 per cent), Italy (23 per cent), and Spain (21 per cent).
While France attracts skilled labor with higher salaries, countries like Australia (47 per cent) and Spain (52 per cent) see more interest from foreign workers in lower-paid positions. By comparison, just 33 per cent of foreign job seekers in France target lower-wage jobs.
Among the sectors attracting international attention in France, education and training have shown particular growth. Foreign interest in this field increased by 0.9 per cent over the last five years, accounting for 3.2 per cent of clicks on French job offers in early 2024. The most active groups exploring these roles come from Morocco, Tunisia, the UK, the US, and Canada.
