With 22.7% of all reserved seats, the United Kingdom leads all other nations in the percentage of seats on scheduled flights. Germany comes in second with 14.9%, followed by Italy with 8.9%. These three nations collectively make up about half of all reserved seats.
Authorities in Spain previously disclosed that over 32.4 million seats had been reserved by airlines for travel to Spain between June and August 2022, a significant recovery of 94% compared to the same time in 2019.
In this regard, the Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism stated that Austria, with a growth of 7.1%, was the market that delivered the most tourists to Spain, followed by Norway with a 6.9% increase, Denmark with a 6.2 increase, and Poland with a 2.3% increase.
