The DiscoverEU autumn call was released by the Commission on October 4, and this application round will close on October 18. This gives young people two weeks to apply for free travel passes.
Young people must apply on the European Youth Portal and respond to five multiple-choice questions and one tie-breaking question in order to obtain a free travel pass for Europe, according to EU Helpers.
According to the EU Commission, candidates must have been born between January 1 and December 31, 2005, in order to be eligible to apply for free travel tickets.
Additionally, applicants must be nationals of one of the following: Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, or Turkey, which is a third-party member of the Erasmus+ Programme.
The successful applicants will be given the opportunity to travel throughout Europe for up to 30 days between March 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025, during which time they can experience other nations.
Participants will be able to explore the New European Bauhaus route, which was introduced in January 2023, claims the Commission.

Participants will receive a discount card in addition to the free travel passes. The card offers more than 40,000 discounts on services like public transportation, lodging, culture, sports, food, and other goods and services that are available in the countries that are qualified.
