Filling the form :
To obtain a residence card, you must personally submit the appropriate forms at the relevant Voivodeship Office. While the required documents may vary based on your reasons for applying, some remain consistent:
- Application form for a temporary residence permit (4 copies)
- Valid travel document (3 copies)
- Recent color photographs (4 copies)
- Written consent from individuals with parental authority over a minor applicant.
Additionally, it's possible to acquire other important permits simultaneously with your temporary residence card. For instance, if you're applying based on starting work in Poland, you can obtain both a temporary residence card and a work permit at once.
Waiting Time :
The processing time for temporary residence applications may take several months due to an increasing number of submissions. Applicants who are denied the document have the option to appeal to the Head of the Office for Foreigners in Warsaw within two weeks of the decision.
Upon initiating the temporary residence application process, you will receive a stamp in your travel document indicating permission to remain in Poland until a final decision is made.
